Awhile back when we flew Brish Air I thought there was a rather serious weight restriction on carry-ons -- something like 13 pounds. Now when I look at their website I see only a size restriction -- no mention of weight. Does this seem right with recent experiences you have had with BA? This would be great.

Yes - over a year ago -- maybe two.

Virgin still has the 6 kilo limit but BA scrapped theirs.

Last February they were weighing your trolleys prior security check; In Stansted.

Last May I flew from Ams to Phoenix via LHR with them. I had a very heavy camera rucksack with me, certainly a lot more than 6 kilos, and it was never weighed. Not even queried.

They get upset if you carry more than 23kg on board

I would be upset if I were trying to carry 23kg anywhere! LOL

I can't even <i>imagine</i> a 23 kg carry on (and I travel w/ just carry on - except when on VS)
