if you feel it's expensive, it is for you. it's all a question of how much time do you think you'll spend in your room - when in paris, i stayed in a budget place because i knew i'd only be sleeping there. in the carribean, i get nicer places cause i know i'll be spending more time indoors, especially at high sunny noon. so, you decide ... there's pleanty of choices.

I have never stayed at the Sully St Germain, however, I have booked many clients here. It is a good 3 star hotel, right in the heart of the latin quarter. They have a nice buffet breakfast included in the rate. The only negative comment is that some rooms are on the small side, but if you let the front desk know they will move you to another room if available.

We stayed at the Hotel Sully Saint Germain on our first trip to Paris five years ago. The rooms were clean, but on the small side --- I guess that's to be expected in Europe! The breakfast was great! We had a nice-sized bathroom with large tub and separate toilet area.

Friends, traveling with us, had a smaller bathroom with shower only and no separate toilet area. The location was so-so, near the Maubert(sp)-Odeon metro stop.

Hello - we stayed there last spring and thought the price reasonable - ~$120 a night. Good breakfast, not overrun with other American tourists, liked the location, not noisy, small room but good sized bathroom, TV, a/c, minibar, in room safe (10ff day), lots of bars and restaurants, easy walk. Has a nice bar. Would stay there again.
