Sorry, fuzz-brained this afternoon. Thought you were asking about gay women's water fountain. Sorry, again. But at least this'll top the question.

There isn't a whole lot to recommend this city other than the location on the lake. It's a resort, and the famous water comes from there. Not to quibble, but if I were going to that general area, I would visit Yvoire, about 10 miles west of Thonon on the lake.

We stopped there many, many years ago enroute to somewhere else. Ate in a nice restaurant but do not recall anything outstanding (or awful, for that matter) about the town itself. Couldn't have been a standout.

Yes I have been there. It's famous for its spa. It's a little town on the south shoreof the Lake of Geneva ( you can take a ferry across To Lausanne) Visitors come the drink the therapeutic water which is not the same as the bottled evian water that we drink. The only excitement in town is the casino. People come to this town to rest. Because of its convention center, mostly business men.

i forgot to add that the bottled evian water has a plant there in a garden setting.
