I will be traveling to the Costa del Sol area next month and have a 4 hour lay over in Madrid between flights. I would like to find a Harley Davidson shop in Madrid and make some purchases for rider friends back in the U.S. Does any one know where one might be in Madrid and would I have enough time to get there and back from the airport between flights? Hi Cindy,<BR>4 hours is too short to get out of Barajas, travel to Madrid, do the shopping and get back (even if there is a Harley shop in Madrid, I doubt it).<BR>Think that you might have a delay arriving to Madrid, there can be lot of problems.<BR><BR>Rgds, Cova

Cindy: The Harley website shows all their locations worldwide, along with great maps of how to get there. They have 1 in Madrid & a number of them in Southern Spain where you will be staying. Perhaps it would be better purchasing your gifts in a city closer to the Costa del Sol.<BR> Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I have checked out the web site and found several shops closer to the area where I will be staying. Does anyone know the Malaga area well enough to know the area of the town where that shop is? Is it any area that is easy to get to and safe to wander in? Thanks again.

Since Harley-Davidson is an American company, can someone explain to me the advantage of buying Harley accessories in Europe for people in the US?

Many Harley owners in the U.S. ( and other parts of the world, I expect) enjoy collecting Harley clothing and other logo items that indicate their origin such as t-shirt from the shop in Madrid with the "Madrid Harley Davidson" logo on it. It's just for enjoyment, not for economics - sort of like buying postcards of the places you've been on vacation.

Thanks, Cindy, for the explanation. I guess it is similar to all the Hard Rock Cafes I visted in the late 80s/early 90s to get T-shirts for my teen age daughter. I was glad when she out-grew it.
