HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY!!! (Back from Rome & Assisi!)

A very enjoyable Thanksgiving Holiday to all who celebrate!! Lots of things to be deeply grateful about, one of which is the blessing to have enjoyed the delights of travel for another year.

Speaking of which, I just returned from Rome & Assisi with Mom, Great trip! I'll never forget this time spent with Mom. We saw the sights, concentrated on Christian Rome, so if you have any questions about that or hotel (Genio), restaurants, train & hotel in Assisi, etc... just ask. I'll be happy to share.

BTW, how do you say Happy Thansgiving in other languages?

No one outside of the US or US bases etc anywhere in the world gives a flying xxxx about Thanks Giving. Another example of US citizens believing the world follows them.

MikeyMoo, you're a total twit. The very first line of Maira's message said "a very enjoyable Thanksgiving Holiday TO ALL WHO CELEBRATE." Put down that jug of Red Bull and vodka and take some reading lessons.
Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate!

RE: Maira

Glad to see you enjoyed your trip. Too bad a sad little American-hater had to crawl from the swamp and try to rain on the parade. I pity these no-lifers who have nothing better to but try and ruin things for others. Such sad, angry people.

Hello Maira,

In German, Thanksgiving would be 'Erntedankfest', whereas 'happy' is 'froh' or 'gluecklich'.

So, FROHES ERNTEDANKFEST everybody.

When we lived in Canada it was 'Happy Thanksgiving'.

The problem is that in Canada Thanksgiving is a much less significant holiday. Also, it's celebrated in October.

In any event, 'Happy Thanksgiving'
(to those who celebrate).
