Hair Color & Passports
#22
Back when I still had a green card instead of a US passport, I turned up to renew it with photos that showed me wearing my glasses. I was sent off to get new photos with no glasses and 3/4 face with my ear showing. Maybe the photographer had been dealing with aliens? (Green card holders are officially Permanent Resident Aliens - I wondered if I was supposed to grow tentacles LOL.)

I'm sure you won't have a problem, Lillprincess. I've had my passport for almost 9 years now, and since that time, I've aged 9 years, lost 45 pounds, gone from auburn to white hair and no one ever says a word about my picture. Kinda supprises me, because even I don't recognize myself in that picture!

Funny you should ask this question. For the past two years, I have been wearing a wig. It is the same length and color but thicker than my passport photo. I always have to explain that it IS me but I'm wearing a wig.
I just renewed my passport with a photo of me in my wig. The last two trips were a breeze, finally, passing through security.
