GUCCI & Other Outlets.. WHERE are they?

Someone please help me..
I will be staying in Florence and yes, as a victim of gloss magazines - I am in search of the Gucci, Prada and other outlets that are just outside Florence...

Any help with directions would be great to any of the outlets.

My wallet thanks you!

Why go to Italy for outlets?
There's a Gucci outlet near Palm Springs, Calif. Rent a car in L A and drive to Palm Springs, stopping at the
outlets in Beaumont. I think there's some on the east coast, too!
Have fun!
C, I'll pass on some information that Christina of Christinastour.com passed on to me.
Gucci
Via Arentina 63
50064 Leccio-Reggello

Dolce & Gabbana
Localita Santa Maria Maddalena 49
50065 Incisa Valarno
there is no bus or train, both are "out in the green"
Gucci and D&g are only 5 minutes away from each other. Gucci is 15 minutes away from incisa valdarno and D&G 10 minutes away from Florence. Follow the autostrada from Florence toward south, there is an exit Incisa Valdarno, there you turn right and follow the mainroad, a curvy street and then you find the name Leccio, the Gucci is in the curve on the left side. It's a white block building and nothins written on it. To get to the D&G following the same street from the incisa you find before leccio a crossroad going to
Rignana, it turns left and crosses the Arno river, after the bridge the street build a T, there turn left and immediately on your left side you see a grey block building looking like industry, this is D&G. She highly recommends taking a good map. Of course you could also take a cab or I believe Christina does tours herself. She was very kind to me and e-mailed me with all this information and tips herself.
Hope this helps, maybe I'll run into shopping this summer!

We stopped at one last summer. Think it was a Gucci, maybe Prada, near Reggalo. It was not worth the detour. Things were very expensive, very haute couture-don't know where I could wear anything I saw except maybe the belts. Men's shoes seemed to be a good value at $125., but everything (even the belts) were over $100. Found better bargains for shoes and bags at the city markets. Bought a pair of White Mountain casual shoes for about $7 near Collodi on market day. Maybe others had better luck at different outlets or at a different time. There is a website with factory outlets in Europe. If it's important to you, I'll try to find it in my files.

Hi C, forgot to mention that Christina thought the Prada outlet was not worth it. She described it like this: you have to take a number, wait till they let you in the store, sometimes you have to line up for 2 hours! She also noticed that the quality was not that great.
Happy shopping!
