GTG Florence 15 - 18 May?
After I've finished my week at language school, I'm going to be in Florence for a few days and wonder if any other fodorites are going to be there and might like to meet up for lunch/dinner?
I'm sure that with the help of our friends here, we can find somewhere nice to go and gossip about them!

I suggested the language school Il Sasso in Montepulciano, but she chose one on the coast.

bob - that's a nice idea. However, with only 2 1/2 days in Florence, and the trains taking between 2 and 3 hours each way, i don't think that it's very practical. Sorry. it might be different if i had a car, but I've seen the traffic in Florence and I'd rather stick pins my eyes than drive there.
ky - you suggested that one to me too, and I too preferred one on the coast. in might have been different if i were travelling in winter.
