Hi Irish_Sojourner,
I have had great luck with Rick Steves tours. I highly recommend them. www.ricksteves.com. I am leaving on my third tour with them on July 2, 2009 (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria).
I went on an EF Tour once and do not recommend it for adults.
You do not need to apologize for anything. This is a public website. There are all types of travelers who come to this website for travel information.
