Greetings from Santorini!!

Hi Fodorites, I tried to find my previous message from the Plaka, but it didn't come up sorry I am posting again. So far we have been to Mykonos and now we are in Santorini. There was an electrical storm and tons of rain while we were in Mykonos the first day. Today has been sunny and bright on Santorini. We were laying out by pool at 5 pm. Staying at Loucas hotel, can't say enough nice things about it. Hope we are all doing well, please feel free to ask questions. I will try to post again, but our yacht adventure begins on Saturday so I don't know If I will be able to respond until I get back to Athens next week.

Glad to hear from you! I'v been thinking about you with the troubles in the Mid East. Be very careful once you return to Athens. And maybe think twice about flying an American flag on your boat if you can avoid it. But I'm sure you're having a wonderful time!

Was married in Oia a month ago. Had a great time there as did my guests. the restuarant 1800 is a must for dinner. The sunset cruise on Bella Aurora was a big disappointment because we were packed like sardines on the lovely sailing yacht. Perphaps it won't be so in November. I would hate to visit Santorini during the peak summer period because it was already pretty crowded in mid September.
