Good draft beer. And nice barmen.
So here I am drinking a Carlsberg for a change waiting for my friend to take a break.
A very nice way to end - or start - an evening.

Shoot. I am in a good mood - just gave 8 euros to a tramp.

The name comes from the story that the first manned balloon ride was launched from a nearby courtyard. There's a painting of the green aircraft inside the large pub.

Southam - it all hinges on the barmen for me. The beer might be a little warm, only pretzels for snacks - but you can bring food in and eat at the bar - there won't be any seats when the Wednesday Pub Quiz is on - and our team usually loses - but it's the barmen who make the whole thing work!

We loved our evening at the Green Linnet with WoinParis, kerouac, fuzzbucket, and FMT behind the bar and his lovely wife in the audience. Haven't made it to the Wednesday quiz yet, but will someday.
