Greek Islands
Hi, my husband and I are going to Europe in September. I am concerned about the five days we are spending in the Greek Islands. We are planning to stay 3 nights in Mykonos and 2 nights in San Torini. We are flying to both islands. Do you think these islands are a good choice?, are they very similar and should we choose something different? Thanks for your comments!

Those are probably the two most visited islands in the Cyclades, so many share your enthusiasm. You will need to go by ferry from Mykonos to Santorini unless you fly via Athens. All things considered, the ferry would be quicker: http://www.ferries.gr/hfd/

Sanotini is great! you will love it, it is so beautiful i decided to stay there 7 nights instead of the planned 3 nights. there is this roof terrace restaurant in the old town Fira where they serve fantastic Greek food. definitly try it! sorry, i forgot the name, but you won't miss it, it is big and lots of people go there. i also enjoyed the donkey rides and the volcano tour

Hi! i think your itinerary is fine! There are a lot of wonderful islands but if you realy want to see something completely differnet then you have to visit the ionian islands or sporades or dodecanese, so just for 5 days i think you can't go wrong with Mykonos and SAntorini.
Last summer we've stayed in this one in Oia SAntorini for 130€ in August which is peak season. BEAUTIFUL views!! http://www.greekhotel.com/cyclades/s...amare/home.htm
In mukonos we've stayed at this one http://www.mykonos-arhontiko.com/accommodation.html which had lovely rooms but you need a car because it's 5-10min to Chora.
(September is a great time with fewer crowds and better prices).
