Hi
In the meantime have a look here to get some idea of ferry details - http://mykonos-accommodation.com/boats-summer.htm. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. It is a 45 minute ride to Delos and the island closes at 3pm. The ferry fare is around €15.
It's a short stroll from where the cruise ships dock and the ferries depart.
Hope this helps.

hello Joanne
Ok, there might be different way for you to arrive on Mykonos. We have two harbours old and new.
For few years now some cruise ships come or sit out at new harbour at Tourlos which is close to 1.5 km from town. If this happens I feel your ship will have arranged transport to town for it's passengers which takes maybe 8 minutes travel time.
The ship bus will probably leave you at taxi square, situated right on the harbour front. From Taxi Square you walk towards our small blue domed church and you will then see signs on wall for boats to Delos. The walk from Taxi Square to this part of harbour is maybe only about 4 minutes.
Only very small cruise liners come in to the old port but very many will sit outside it and transfers passengers to mykonos town using the ships own little boats. This is best option as those little boats come straight to the part of the harbour where the Delos boats leave from. So, you need to walk maybe only about 50 feet!
Last summer boats left between 8.30am and 1pm and if wind is good and sea calm it can take approximatly 30 minutes. Worldinabag is correct at fare cost but it can change. I have seen it at 10 euro only. So much depends how busy boat demand is. Also, harbour notices for the service showing cost are easily changed with chalk-sticks and many times they are!
One thing to check with your tour operator is whether or not the ship stops at Delos first on way into Mykonos. Very many liners do this and that may make it easier for you. They take their passengers to Delos on little boats from ship and return them a few hours later then sail into Mykonos for some hours to let all passengers visit town.
thanos
