Greece Meal Costs - Lunch & Dinner

Going to Greece - 14 days w Globus and add on 4 -5 nights (1 in Mykonos and 3 in Santorini).

Working on budget (how much to set aside) for meals.

We're not trying to travel on a tight budget - we want to eat at "nice places" close by our hotel and want to experience the food there.

For lunch for example, would want to sit down at a restaurant, have multiple different things to pick from, and have a glass of wine/beer.
For dinner - appetizer, salad, entree, dessert and drinks (1 - 2 pp).

If pricing was $ - $$$$ - I would think we'd be targeting the middle of $$$.

Based on info shared above - looking for recommendations on how much to budget on average for?
1. lunch per person
2. dinner per person

Thank you and cheers!

I recommend you look up restaurants near your hotel and check out prices online.

Eating both lunch and dinner at a restaurant is a sure fire way to blow any budget. Buying street food, or better yet lunch fixings from a market will enable your money to go farther.

Thanks not trying to be rude but I asked for approximate cost for

lunch pp - sit down at a restaurant, have multiple different things to pick from, and have a glass of wine/beer
dinner pp - appetizer, salad, entree, dessert and drinks (1 - 2 pp)

not food trucks and lunch fixings from the market

Right now based on 10 minutes of reading, I have for two people $50 for lunch and $100 for dinner for two of us each day.

Just looking for is this close to on target, low, or high, so I can set that money aside since food is one of many trip costs.

Lunch at nice places your target is probably close.

dinner with appetizer, salad, entree, dessert and drinks (1 - 2 pp) could easily run 150 a couple or higher for nice places.

All depends on the kind of restaurant and on the food you order.
At overtouristy places like Santorini and Mykonos you can find some overpriced tourist traps.
The "normal" restaurants too are a litle more expensive than on "normal" Islands.
Plates like fried calamaris, lamb chops, swordfish, chicken breast, greek salad, marouli salad..... are usually cheap.
So is Retsina or the house wine.
A good fish or bottled wine will get more expensive.
If you take only 1 plate/pax (usually rather huge), you pay less than if you you order entree, main dish and dessert.......

Not trying (but succeeding) to be rude, but the OP asked for approximate cost for

lunch pp - sit down at a restaurant, have multiple different things to pick from, and have a glass of wine/beer
dinner pp - appetizer, salad, entree, dessert and drinks (1 - 2 pp)

not ways to save $ by ordering house wine or only taking 1 plate/pax....
