Greece in the spring

Hi everyone,

I am trying to see if I can plan a trip to an European destination in the spring (first two weeks of April). I was looking into Greece and I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on what Greece was like during this time of year? Is it relatively warm and good weather? I wanted to ask your opinions before I start devising my itinerary, so I don't really have specific cities or places in mind. It would be my first time in Greece.

I have heard from a few websites that some tourist attractions tend to close down in the spring. I was wondering if people had any thoughts on this.

Thank you!

The weather is unpredictable in early April.

"Is it relatively warm and good weather?" Relative to where?

If a tourist attraction has been closed it will open again in the spring after being down for the winter, but the major attractions, such as the ones in Athens, stay open all year long,

"Is it relatively warm and good weather" compared to other European destinations, specifically. I'd like to go somewhere in Europe (aside from Portugal, Spain, and France).
Thanks for your input!

Relative to Holland, Germany, Switzerland and No. Italy it will be warm in Greece. The further south and east you go the warmer it will be. Consider Rhodes or So. Crete.

The weather in Europe is a little bit crazy this year. My predictions are wrong since the beginning of the year.
In Greece, in April, it depends where you are. In the south, we can swim, go to the beach but evenings are fresh.
In the north, it’s cloudier and it’s often raining.

You can't be guaranteed warm weather anywhere in Europe during early April, but that's not so much a problem unless you are planning to spend days on the beach. It's not a good time to go to the islands, but most of the best sightseeing is on the mainland, anyway. Since you have eliminated Spain, you are most likely to find good weather in Greece or southern Italy.
