Greece Honeymoon
3 weeks until my wife and I are off to Greece for the first time for our honeymoon. I'd like to share our itinerary and request any advice from you.
Santorini - Sep 12 - 17
Theodora Suites, Oia
We have 1.5 hours from landing in Athens to our flight to Santorini with Olympic Air. Is this enough time to catch out flight to the island?
Naxos - Sep 17 - 21
Galaxy Hotel
Mykonos - Sep 21 - 24
Poseidon Hotel
Athens - Sep 24 - 30
Electra Palace Hotels
Do you suggest we get a flight or ferry back to Athens from Mykonos? I have yet to book the ferries between islands. Should I pre-book or book it once we are there? As this will be our first trip to Greece, any and all advice and info will be much appreciated.

That should be plenty of time, and you can download your boarding passes 48 hours before departure. With them in hand all you have to do is drop your bags off at the designated dropoff point next to the Olympic check-in counters and go find your departure gate. It will save you a lot of time.
Ferry vs. flying: it's up to you but you can fly in 30 minutes or take a ferry for several hours. You should also know that from Mykonos you can catch a ferry to Rafina, which is a lot closer to Mykonos than Athens/Piraeus, then take a bus into the city in less than an hour. Some of those Mykonos/Rafina ferries are fast ferries that only take a couple of hours to make the crossing. http://www.gtp.gr will show you what's available on your travel dates.
Great sunset views from Theodora Suites. Walk down below the hotel to Amoudi Bay for lunch on the wharf. Walk to the end of the seawall that begins on the wharf for the best swimming on the island. Wear sturdy shoes because you'll have to cross over a small rockslide to reach the swimming.

You will have enough time to catch the Olympic flight to Santorini as long as your inbound flight arrives on time. I second brotherleelove's advice to check in online for the Santorini flight and print out boarding passes before you leave home.
You have several options for getting back to Athens from Mykonos. As well as the flights, there are 5 ferries to Rafina and 1 to Piraeus on Sep 24th. Although the Piraeus ferry takes a little longer, it gets you closer to central Athens. Flights are quickest of all, but are more expensive and take additional time for check in and wait for luggage at the destination. I'm not sure what to recommend, it's more a matter of personal preference.
I see you are planning to stay in Athens for 6 days. Before anyone tells you that is too long, I think it is a very good idea, although you may not want to spend every night in the city. With 6 days at your disposal you will have lots of time to experience the city, and to take some overnight trips to Delphi and/or Nafplio, which will add much to your Greek honeymoon. Oh, and congratulations!

You don't need to prebook ferries in mid to late September. By then they will be running half empty, so there will be plenty of seats. Buy your tickets for Santorini > Naxos when you get to Santorini. You could also buy the Naxos > Mykonos tickets on Santorini, but it would be better to wait until you are on Naxos. If for any reason the ferry from Naxos is cancelled, you can still get to Mykonos via Paros, and it would be easier to exchange tickets at the same agency you bought them from.
If you don't plan to take any trips outside of Athens it would better to have that extra day on Mykonos. Go to the archeological site on Delos while you are on Mykonos, unless you have no interest in ancient sites. I highly recommend you take a trip to either Nafplio or Delphi while you are in Athens, though, because they are really beautiful places. If you don't wish to go overnight they can be done as day trips.
