Greece
Hi Everyone!
My husband and I will be celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary in Greece from July 4th-20th.
We are planning on staying in Santorini, Crete, and Mykonos. We would love hotel suggestions and any tips on best locations to stay. We are looking to spend around $400 a night at each place.
Thank you!

You'll be in Greece at the start of the High Season so expect lots of tourists and higher prices, especially Santorini. However, your budget gives you more options than most of the budget-friendly travelers.
Crete is Greece's largest island . . . it would take several weeks to fully explore and experience.
Santorini and Mykonos are two of the most heavily touristed and expensive of the Greek Islands. I would remove Mykonos and concentrate on Santorini and Crete.
Your budget is way out of my league but I magine you could get something spectacular on Santorini and a lot less on Crete and still experience Greece.
I'm sure there'll be others with more recommendations but with that kind of budget you should get something really nice!

We stayed on Santorini last October, at the Gold Suites. It was slightly above your budget, but there were a few small hotels right next to it.
I highly recommend you stay in that area, of Imerovigli. It's right in the center of the caldera, with astounding views. You won't need to make a special trip to see the sunset view, because you'll have it right from your hotel room.
We used CostcoTravel.com and were happy with the Athens/Santorini package we got for a week.

The above posting from Johnny speaks to a larger issue: there are a multitude of delightful places in Greece other than Santorini and Mykonos which are also worth visiting - other islands and the mainland. Rhodes is a nice suggestion.
