great tour guide

I was in Italy 2 times last year, and in Rome used the best tour guide. Her e-mail address is [email protected]. Her name is Giulia Bernadini, and her cost for her tours was reasonable. We did a walk from the Spanish steps to the Colisieum for a half day, and also a tour of the Vatican. We learned so much. She is American, educated in the US and lives in Rome. If you need to ask me more questions, e-mail me. She is soo nice, and since she is American/Roman, she is easily understood. Arlene K.

Business a little slow for your friend, goolaboola?

best tour guide in Rome!

Author: littlear ([email protected])
Date: 05/03/2001, 08:16 am

Message: My mom, sister and I just got back from Italy. We had the BEST tour guide in Rome. She is an American/Roman woman, an actress by career. She gave us a 3 hour private tour from the Spanish Steps to the Forum. History came alive with Giulia. Please e-mail me for further info or to Giulia at [email protected]. Her tele. # is (39)0338 1883462. The cost was $150 for the 3 hrs. She can plan a pri. tour anywhere within Rome. I can't rave enough. littlear

Thanks for advertising here on the forum.

Any other ethical violations that fail to trouble this individual?
What a rude remark. I am not advertising for Giulia. She is just a great tour guide, and we found her to be so interesting. I know I needed someone when we went, and were happy to get recommendations from this site. If I can help anyone, I enjoy sharing ideas, as that,is what this forum is for. arlene

You may not think it's advertising, but it does provide free promotion for goolaboola. And you give no indication why you post this, unsolicited, for two consecutive years, at the height of the summer travel planning season, not in response to a question, nor as far as you tell us, in relationship to any recent trip there.
As I said, she was great, we enjoyed her tour, and I have been helped so many times with recommendations for guides on this site, that I feel compelled to help others, that is all. Other people have e-mailed me and thanked me, and I did the same for the guides I used. Arlene

Hi Arlene,

Thanks for the great recommendation re: your tour guide Ms. Bernadini. This is exactly what this site is all about - sharing useful information! Pay no attention to "anon" ( what's in a name)
....and by the way, all of this is 'advertisement'and thank God we do! I hope Ms. Bernadini makes a fortune with her tour business this year and every year!!! LOL!!!!....Dottie

Can I top this for another round of publicizing Ms. Bernardini and get my kickback? I need a cup of coffee.

Maybe I could just get one while no one is watching and not pay for it.
