Great price NY-PARIS Sept-Oct

Just got an email from TravelZoo. $327 roundtrip based on 2 people flying NY to Paris from Sept 4 through Oct 31 midweek. Don't know if it includes tax. Just in case you're interested: http://www.travelzoo.com/Newsflash.asp?156719
Wish I could go then!

Taxes not included so its not all that amazing of a price. Its a good price but not the best I have seen.

Thanks for the heads up...it is the best I have seen recently. We are treating our daughter to a trip to Paris in Sept.for college graduation, so we just started looking for a ticket.

MorganB...where did you see better?

The three-day sale on BA (recently ended) was better than this. The very best prices are as ephemeral as soffles.

Best wishes,

Rex

Wren: as Rex mentioned , BA sale was better. I consider around 275 to 350 including tax to be a good price for NYC-PAR. I am just basing that on past experience and not on any particular fare. I find travelocitys fare watcher helpful to catch the fleeting sales.

Susan,

Take Morgan's advise and register for the Travelocity "Farewatcher Alert".

You put in your city airport pairs (that you are interested or can fly from and to), and they send you an e-mail any time the flight prices change.

Such was the case with the recent BA sale everyone referred to. I happened to be registered for Rome, and the farewatcher alert snagged me a non-stop on Continental into Rome from Newark for $367 , with tax in November.

The farewatcher alert beats having to do mulitple, daily price checks at different sites.
