Granada to Madrid

I am debating whether to fly from Granada to Madrid or to drive. Any suggestions? Any idea how long it takes to drive? Thanks very much!

We just did this in March. I think it took us about 7 hours. Very good road but a long ride.

I just booked a flight on Iberia from Madrid to Granada in October and it was only 28 euros per person plus tax and the flight only takes one hour. I'm sure it is the same price for a flight from Granada to Madrid. I couldn't beat that price using any other means of travel.

I got that fare throught Iberia.com. I also booked a return flight to Madrid from Sevilla for the same price. Will take the train from Granada to Sevilla.
