Grambois, Joucas, Viens--anyone familiar?

We're looking at renting houses near these towns in Provence next June. Is anyone familiar with these towns and/or the surrounding areas? Good and bad feedback appreciated. Thanks.

I am not familiar with these areas, but I just watched a film, "MY Mother's Castle" and part of it was filmed in Grambois (I believe)
Sorry, my French is non existent and I cannot reproduce the title in French. The above is the English translation, of course.
I rented it on line. It was very enjoyable.

Joucas is about 3km from Gordes in the Luberon. I stayed there in 2003. I thought it a very charming little town, but since it has no tourist reputation, you'll feel like a local there. It's a very short drive from there to Gordes and Roussillon. If you choose to stay there, be sure to check out the little church. There are trompe l'oeil paintings inside and a World War I memorial outside on the side to the left of the door.

We visited Joucas in 2003 too -- didn't stay there, but stopped to check it out. It was lovely. I think it would be a wonderful place to stay. Lots of stone stairways and pretty curvy streets.

The companion Pagnol film to "My Mother's Castle" is "My Father's Glory." Another terrific film!

All three are very beautiful, small villages and relatively untouched by the tourist hordes. Viens, in particular, is as pretty as Gordes with amazing views over a lavendar filled valley. In terms of location, Viens and Grambois are a bit removed from many of the more visited sites in the area. Joucas, as someone already mentioned is very centrally located.
