Goslar, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg
I leave in just 6 short weeks for the Harz (and later Rhein)!
We base in Goslar with day trips.
I CANNOT find anything on these three towns websites about a weekly produce/farmer's market!
I love to buy fresh local provisions and just people watch at these weekly outdorr markets.
Anyone in the know about which days they may be held?
Of course I can check with the TI upon arrival, but hoped to sketch out an itinerary beforehand.

Wow, after two days of digging, I have found the following, which I am hoping is correct:
Goslar-auf dem Jacobikirchhof-Tues & Fri 8-13:00
Wernigerode-Tues and Fri 8:30-18:00
Quedlinburg-Wed and Saturday 8-13:00
I am getting excited now!

Goslar's city website also mentions another weekly produce market
WED + SAT 8-12, at Jürgenohl (Danziger Str.)
Just keep in mind that while those weekly produce markets are a regular feature in any town in Germany, those are not necessarily "Farmers Markets", only or mostly with fresh, LOCAL produce. There will probably always be local farmers selling eggs, meats or dairy from their farms. But you'll also find any kind of not-so-local veggies, fruits, etc. -- otherwise the selection would be currently limited to potatos and beet roots in Germany as there is not much to harvest in winter, you know..
