Jackie Onassis sends lots of licks and paw prints. She was very sad when I told her, as dogs understand more than humans do.

Mimi, wishing you strength...We lost our lab Cooper suddenly a few years ago and know the pain. May you all find peace. Allison

cigalechanta, sorry to hear about your doggie. We have an old, wonderfully lovable doggie too, so we can guess how you might be feeling.

My thoughts are with you and Misha, too. Unless you have loved a dog, (or cat) it's hard to realize that they are really a part of your family. My dogs, and the many in my past, have been so important to me, so I know how you must be feeling with a sick, old dog. Anyway, you have many friends on this board who are pulling for Misha.

Dear Mimi, you are in my thoughts also. Not a good time for you I know. I am so sorry, losing a loved and special family companion is so very difficult. Blessings to all three of you.

Sorry, cig, I knew from the dog park how he was in bad shape but you made so many of us aware of dog Alzheimer's.
Hang in there doggie, if it's what cig wants.

Here is a hug for you, cigalechanta, and a pat on the head for your dog. It is so hard when they are sick.

Best wishes,
Johanna (Gracie, by the way, is the name of one of my dogs, and she and Leo send their best, also. )
