Sounds expensive but Automatic transmission is costly. Have you tried www.autoeurope.com ?

Sorry Janda

Just checked the website - it is the auto that kills the cost, a manual starts off at USD 177.87.

Hi J,

Also try www.novarentacar.com.

If they are cheaper, call AE and see if they will etter the price.

PS,

I think that the C3 with AT will have trouble getting out of its own way.

Why do you want a car in Sorrento, anyway?

ira and Sarvowinner,
We want to drive the Amalfi and drive to Ravello. I was a passenger before on the Amalfi and I think I can drive it without too much problems.

I will go to the novarentacar.com website and check them out.

We HAVE to have an automatic and we want airconditioning too. I am willing to pay $$ to have a automatic.

thanks again for all your help.

Hi J,

Have you considered hiring a limo for the day?

You will get a tour of places that the usual tourist rarely sees as well as a drive along the coast road and time for stopovers.

You will be picked up and delivered to your hotel.

It should be less than a 3 day car rental.

We were pleased with Limousine Service Sorrento (Renato Cuomo)
www.cuomonet.it

Also consider Francesco. He has started his own business. He might give you a better price. http://www.francescomarrapese.com/
