If I knew what there was to offer there I would not be posting this question. <BR>How much simpler do I need to make it? <BR>Do they sell Saint Francis medals? Are there animal blessings on pottery or any other medium? Anything that a pet lover might appreciate.

"Do they sell Saint Francis medals?" <BR> <BR>yes <BR> <BR>"Are there animal blessings on pottery or any other medium?" <BR> <BR>yes <BR> <BR>"Anything that a pet lover might appreciate." <BR> <BR>yes <BR> <BR>and I [heart] assisi t-shirts, and stuff with little squirrels and birds and whatever on it. <BR> <BR>i don't see how anybody else can answer this question for you. you're going to have to shop and see what you see. <BR> <BR>this would not be a reason to go to assisi by itself, in my opinion, but if you enjoy the process of browsing through tourist-y stuff, you're going to find something that will be what you are looking for. <BR> <BR>i would have never thought of pottery as small gifts. <BR>

I hope that it is not too late for you to get this message! My Dad is a real animal lover as well, and I found him the most beatiful little figures, made from wood (or at least with a wood finish) in a small shop between the Piaza Del Comune and the Bsilica of St Francis, of a boy or girl, with a little bird in the hand, or a rabbit or sheep at their feet. It may sound very sentimental, but it really is beautiful! There are also very nice "cat T-shirts" ! Enjoy Assisi!
