Go euro website to book train tickets in Italy ??
I am getting better deals at GoEuro to book train tickets in Italy compared to ItaliaRail .. any one ever used this to book?? Any reviews?? Recommendations ???
Also I found this overnight train from Venice departing at 00.08hrs arriving at 06.35 hours in Rome , with Couchette-Mixed single bunk in mixed 4-bunk comfort couchette for 83euros for 2pax.. is it good deal?? Are these couchette comfortable?? Our flight is on same day from Rome at 2pm..

My understanding is that Italiarail charges a small supplement for fares that are derived from the Trenitalia fare structure and schedule.
If you are getting better deals than are available through Trenitalia, good for you.

Use www.trenitalia.com
That gives you exact seat choice from a plan, GoEuro won't.
Both Italiarail and GoEuro connect to Trenitalia's system, but you can cut out the middle man and book direct.

Yes book direct - as Man says www.trenitalia.com - are couchettes comfy? Depends on who you ask - I've taken zillions and always found them OK but if there is the loud snorer or loud other people not always but that is rare IME.
Price a private double and see what the difference is - if not much go for it as is much nicer being just by yourselves.
Anyway for lots on night trains check www.seat61.com (Man in Seat 61 who posts above his commercial info-laden site and www.budgeteuropetravel.com and www.ricksteves.com.
You have never taken a night train before so you may or may not sleep well as there is always a modicum of noise from inside and outside the train.
Plus a late departure from Venice means waiting a long time to get on (probably half-hour earlier but could be more as that train probably starts in Venice) and an early arrival. Day trains only take 3.5 hours or so and can be as cheap as 29 euros if you book far enough in advance.

It's the super economy price of 39.9€ per person. It just depends on any given day whether that rate is still available.
I wouldn't take this train unless you don't need to sleep. This train makes 10 stops in 6 hours.
And a little more through DCC. I don't know if Go Euro does similar.

Thank you all for your suggestions .. will book through Trenitalia as recommended.. and day train taking 3.5hrs makes more sense for sure..
There is train at 5.30am in morning from Venice stopping for change in Mestre and direct to FCO airport Rome, arriving 9.52am.. does it makes sense to take this train.. or should we take a 7.15am direct from Venice to Roma Termini and then train to airport.. reaching by around 12pm.. our flight departure is at 15.10hrs.. Do the trains run on time?
