Giro d'Italia - Treviso start
We'll be staying in Cittadella on May 25 and 26 and DH would dearly love to see the
start or finish of a stage. I've been searching but cannot find what time the stage in
Treviso starts or how early to get there to see them whiz by. Anyone have any ideas?
TIA

My husband has looked at the timetable and says on May 25th the stage starts in Treviso at 11:15. Get there early to get a spot and apparently there is a little parade of all the sponsors first who throw out products and goodies to keep everyone entertained.
If you look at the timetable it gives you the expected arrival in each successive town calculated on their average speed.
And yes, go Ryder, go!

When the Giro came through my home town a couple of years ago we all hoped for goodies from the sponsors but they didn't have them. Apparently they aren't as generous as the Tour sponsors.
It was interesting to see them all whiz past and see the sheer numbers of vehicles following them, but tbh I wouldn't go out of my way to see it again.

...we did see it in a tiny little village - everyone from
babies to ancients were on the street - pink everywhere.
DH was thrilled to watch Ryder ride by on his Cervelo and
the sight of the pelaton thundering down the road was really
quite amazing.
...and I got the T shirt to prove it. lol.

....We're wearing pink in our little corner of Umbria - so
happy Ryder won the Giro d'Italia - hope he does as well in
the Tour de France. Sad we won't be able to see a stage of
that one!
DH is missing his Cervelo...I'm not missing his spandex. lol.
