Getting to Andorra from France (+ things to do)
We are considering making a short excursion to Andorra as part of our 3 week vacation to France. Can you get there if you don't have a car? By bus or train?

I've searched for answers, but have found surprisingly little about Andorra. Does anyone have any pointers, tips, anecdotes, advice, experiences etc?

The closest train station is La Tour de Carol, then a bus from there. Buses from Toulouse and probably other cities near the border as well.

Andorra has two things going for it: tax free shopping and incredible scenery (hiking, walking, skiing). The former makes me think of Nogales and Tijuana; go for the latter.
Thanks for your replies! Normally I can figure it out on my own, but Andorra seems like a strange place to access via Internet. I'm curious and will probably make a brief stop there, if only to say that I was there...

Thanks for your help!
