Have you visited Abano terme...do you know much about it?

I ask because I had planned to spend 4 days there and was quite surprised by the town.

We drove there so I can't tell you an easy way for the airport.

From Marco Polo airport by car taxi to the railway station of Venezia Mestre (pay attention, not Venezia Santa Lucia, but Mestre; it means by car and not by boat9.
From Venezia Mestre to Terme Euganee (the name of the railway station of Abano Terme) there are fast and comfortable trains more or less every hour and the time is, more or less, half hour.
Maybe, if you land early in the morning, the best train has departure time at 9:20am and its arrival time is at 9:50am.
Have a lovely trip.
Ciao.

Vincenzo

There is also very frequent airporter bus service between Marco Polo Airport and Mestre Train Station for 3 Euros, operated by ATVO Bus Lines. You can save the cost of a taxi by taking the bus.
