The train fare from Geneva to the Jungfraujoch itself is fierce because the trip from Interlaken Ost to the Jungfraujoch is one the most expensive rides anywhere on a per kilometer basis.
If you are standing up, I suggest sitting down. In Swiss francs, chf, the round trip fare from Geneve to Interlaken Ost is 126 chf. The normal round trip fare from Interlaken Ost to and from the Jungfrajoch is 176.60 chf for a total of 302.6 chf.
In US $ that is about $242; in £ it is
120 or so.
Not a cheap trip but on a clear day it is worth it. On a cloudy day, I think it is a waste of time and money because you can see very little.

If the Jungfrau is cloudy, chances are Zermatt will not be much better. Zermatt is down in a hole so to speak and to see anything you have to gain considerable elevation.
In terms of linear distance, The Jungfraujoch is not that far from the mountains around Zermatt. Rarely is one crystal clear and the other socked in with clouds. It can happen, however.
That is one problem with Switzerland if you are not there for the ski slopes.
If the weather is poor, then the mountains lose their appeal rather quickly.
I would suggest riding the Chocolate Train if the weather forecast is bad!!
Or visit something around Geneva that is indoors.
