Visiting Gdynia on Baltic cruise, trips to either Gdansk or Malbork Castle offered. Has anyone visited either? Which would you recommend? We both enjoy history.

Its hard to say but my choice is Malbork the world largest knights' castle. You'll never forget!

I just got back from 2 weeks in Poland and visited both Gdansk and Malbork. I agree that Malbork is fabulous, but I also LOVED Gdansk! It is a beautiful city to walk around in, there are some interesting sites to see (including an exhibit in the town hall of the destruction of Gdansk during WWII) and LOTS of great restaurants and shopping opportunities. Have fun, whichever option you choose!

Thanks for all your advice, I have managed to find a tour to Malbork castle on which we get to spend a little time in Gdansk as well. Am really looking forward to it.
