Thanks so much. I had a wonderful adventure in off the beaten path Sweden in 2006. Loved Dalarna & Carl Larssen.

This was a great trip report. I am just sorry now that I only have a few days in Stockholm when I am in Sweden.

I guess I will have to just plan another trip to go back.

Thanks again for the report.

Hi Cobbie and Nutella - glad you enjoyed the t.r.

And Glad Midsommar's Eve to all Scandinophiles! There is dancing round the maypole and celebration of the summer soltice in Scandinavia as we speak.

Here at the other end of the globe, it's the darkest mid-winter solstice day, and zero celebration, other than t.g.i.f

Hard to believe it’s exactly a year since the last post, and Scandinavia is once again celebrating midsommar’s eve as I write!

I’ve just received an email from editor Katie that I’ve been ‘word of mouth’ quoted in the newly-published Essential Scandinavia guidebook; what lovely prompt to reread and relive the memories.

I’m on a mission to update my TRs where I’ve included pics, as unfortunately they will all disappear due to an IP change at the end of this month (June 09) and the webhosting site will become defunct.

So apologies to anyone pulling this TR from the archives – wish I could put the info that a pic links don’t work at the top of this TR instead of at the bottom – so frustrating!
