Full one-day layover: Frankfurt, Berlin or Dusseldorf?

Hi everyone, in looking at flights from New York to Greece there are some options with full one-day layovers in Frankfurt, Berlin or Dusseldorf (getting into each city before 9am on Friday and departing at around 6am on Saturday). Since I've never been to any of the cities I thought I'd take advantage of the opportunity for a free (although very short) visit. Any thoughts on which city is the most manageable in a single day? I'm more into architecture and roaming around than visiting museums and galleries. Thanks for your suggestions.

I can only speak for Frankfurt but it's so very easy and quick to get into town from the airport. The train leaves from the airport and takes about 10 minutes to the main train station. Train run every 15 minutes.

There are lots of interesting sights in Frankfurt that are not museums nor galleries. I took a walking tour that was inexpensive and very enjoyable. When you're done with the tour your guide can recommend some other places to visit.

I'd choose Berlin in a heartbeat. So much history, style, and atmosphere wherever you go.

What time of year? I would choose Berlin for sure. Check out Memorial to Murdered Jews, walk the parks, see what you think of the rebuilding in classical styles, eat great food, see the Wall, the new Reichstag, the old TV tower etc.
Lots of public art, lots of changes going on.
