From Roslin to Ballachulish

I am having trouble booking 2 rooms in Callander. We thought that would be a good stopping off place to spend the night after landing in the morning and touring Rosslyn Chapel. We are on our way to Ballachulish the next day and have room reservations that night. Any suggestions besides Callander? There is some motoring event where many of the rooms are booked well in advance.

We got a booking at Southfork Villa. Thanks anyhow!!! Now we just have one open night. It's on June 25th. We will be coming from Orkney headed toward Linlithgow for the night of June 26. Any ideas???? Still in the 25 pound per person range. Boat of Garten? Avimore?

Susan, at that price range, you're talking B&B, and I'm not good at that.

Upper Speyside would be a good area. Nethy Bridge is nice

Susan,

Aviemore has the advantage of having plenty of acommodation & restaurants but the disadvantage of being pretty much charmless.

Depends on what you are looking for. If you just want somewhere to spend the night & grab something to eat then Aviemore would probably be a good choice.
