From Copenhagen to Malmo, Sweden

Will be visiting Copenhagen for 5 days. I realised it only takes a 45 minute train ride to Malmo, Sweden. Is Malmo worth visiting? Need suggestions for a day trip outside Copenhagen.

Hi,

Many people go o Malmo for the day. See

You might also want to visit Roskilde, where they have the Cathedral and the Viking Ship Museum as well as a lovely fjord.

We went into Malmo from Copenhagen via ferry, which was nice. With only five days in Copenhagen, though, Malmo wouldn't be first on my list. Perhaps a daytrip really wasn't enough time, perhaps the extremely humid weather just made things seem less attractive, but it wasn't a city I'd need to return to.

Happy travels!

Roskilde and Helsingor/Helsingborg are good choices for a day trip also. Both of these would rate ahead of Malmo as far as I am concerned. If you are putting in long days, you might be able to do two day trips in one day.
