Well my friend - actually my half-French son's mother as well as friend, got on the 6 am train to Paris with no problems or overcrowding and got on the metro/RER also to CDG - she says some RER trains were suppressed.
But she landing in Michigan so now only has to worry about the strike lasting for three more weeks to bother her return.
What a pain in the rear it is to depend on Frech trains or RERs these days!

It is now estimated that only 10%, if that, of the rail workers are participating in the strike activities. The SNCF site states that some services are being interrupted through the weekend and into next Monday although the vast majority of timings and services appear to be running normally.
