Hi,
Thanks for all of the responses. We are 30 year old girls, and looking for fun nightlife along with some beaches (we know they are rocky) and some sightseeing. Is Nice the best place to stay or do we split between Nice and one night in St Tropez?
Has anyone ever heard of Le Croissette Hotel - I think it is in Nice?
Thanks!

There are some very nice animated beaches just outside of St. Tropez. Plage de Pampelonne, Plage de Tahiti to name just a few. These have sandy beaches. Info on www.saint-tropez.tv/pampelonne
You should only travel to St. Tropez if you have a car, though, because the nice beaches are NOT close to the city centre.
As for nightlife, have a look here www.10best.com/Saint-Tropez/Nightlife/Nightlife
