french perfume not available yet in U.S.?

We will be traveling to Paris in September and I would love to try out some perfumes not yet available here in the U.S. Does anyone know of any?

Creed produces exquisite fragrances. I'm sure it is available in the U.S., but not very widely available, so try Paris.

my very favorite that used to be sold in the US, but no longer, is KL by Lagerfeld. I buy a couple of bottles everytime I go to Paris.

Check the website Perfume of Life--they
seem to know all about perfume.

Also, the sales help is generally bery knowledgeable about what is and is not available, so just ask.

I have a bottle of Fragonard Absolu Nature that I bought here in L.A> so they must sell some of their line in the US.

I too have bought Fragonard in a small town in Maine where I live. The store sells 4 different Fragonard fragrances. So I am assuming there is an importer here in the US.

Creeds and Fragonard are available here but like my fav Coté Bastide And Santa maria, you will not find the complete line. Most buyers here will buy a select few of their fragrances.
Barney's Louis,s and NM seem, to try different ones out for awhile and change to whatever is in. They may still be available but I agree if you google, you can find whatever you want.

I saw ads for Fragonard summer perfumes in magazines here in the US.
One bottle was shaped like an Eiffel Tower. Google it, maybe you can find them.

Annick Goutal fragrances are available in the States, but there is a new one which is not yet being distributed here.

I cannot recall the name, but the saleslady at the AG shop I went to in the Marais knew which one when I asked. Unfortunately, it was not for me....

There are a number of perfumes that appear in France before hitting the U.S. markets. I bought a bottle of Boucheron before it ever became available here. It's just of matter of shopping and being aware of what's new. Any large department store will be promoting their latest perfumes.

I agree, check the large dept. stores like Galeries Lafayette for anything new. Also try Sephora under the Louvre museum. There should be some new fragrances featured there. If not new then at least ones that don't get exported to the US.
