Frankfurt: Budget accommdation wanted
Hello there.
Looking for hotel, pension, or B&B for two nights in Frankfurt - single room for around 50 euros. Ideally located centrally with good public transport links to airport and football stadium. Any recommendations? Thanks

You can get a single room with private bath at the Haus der Jugend hostel for about 40 Euros. It has a very good location near the river and not far from Sachsenhausen. It's a decent place with an inexpensive food hall and lots of international visitors.

Thanks Russ - I've checked that out but it seems they have a 2.00am curfew. You also have to arrive/check-in by 6.00pm, but my flight doesn't land until 9.30pm!
Have found another hostel-type place near the station which seems to be more flexible - have e-mailed a reservation, fingers crossed they're not already full.
Gerg - yes, for the England v. Paraguay game on June 10th. Already booked my flights, now just need to score a match ticket ...
