If you can manage to squeeze in the Pont du Gard, you and your kids will not be disappointed. Make sure to climb up into the top part, where the water flowed through - great view and you can tell them that it was waterproofed with a glue-like substance made from figs.

Thanks everyone. I feel relieved to have nutted out the France part of our trip and we're staying to get excited. I'll be sure to report back with how it all turned out!
