France-Ireland Transportation Options
I am deciding between taking a ferry from France to Ireland or flying. I found a great ferry web site but I would like to hear from travelers who have done either option. I am planning this trip for July 2003. Thanks!

I have flown on ryanair.com from Dublin to Paris (Beauvais) - - cheap as pennies, comfortable as any other intra-Europe flight.<BR><BR>I can't personally imagine taking a ferry.<BR><BR>Best wishes,<BR><BR>Rex<BR>

Fly if you can afford it. The ferry takes quite awhile, and sometimes the crossing can be pretty rough. But, it is still a doable option if flying's out.

Kathy,<BR><BR>The one I looked at was http://www.irishferries.ie/<BR><BR>They have ferries b/w France and Ireland, France and England, and England and Ireland.
