DJ, <BR>Venice is definitely a concern for you, but should be do-able with proper meds. Breezes from the Adriatic do help, but what I didn't realize about Venice til I got there is that it does rain often (which is part of what makes the sun, rainbows, sunsets there so utterly spectacular.) Hope I've been of assistance, sorry I can't comment on other locales. <BR>Kathy

Nature is just trying to thin out the herd, I guess. I usually take a plastic pillow cover to avoid mites. Then use it to store dirty clothes on the return. But the mold is the killer for me. That's why I avoid air conditioners - they just spew mold all over the room. Still, I've never had problems in Europe. In fact, I usually feel great while I'm on vacation; it's here at home that the allergies, neck, back, sinuses, etc., bother me.
