<<(jellied eels are a traditional East London food - they taste like condoms in vaseline).>>

That must have been some blind tasting...

Poetic licence dear boy. If wine can taste of "grass clippings, oak and compost" then jellied eels can taste of johnnies in grease.

I didn't mention that they also contain a razor sharp spine that can cut your mouth.

PalenQ drinks paint, CW eats "condoms in vaseline".

What other strange foods do (non-pregnant) folk eat?

<<It's grim up north.

Spurs are at home to Pest Spam and the barcodes in that period

Chelsea have got Notlob and the toffees in the same period.>>

Have you worked this out yet Thereyet? it took me a few minutes to get "the bar codes".

I still reckon that your best bet is Spurs v Newcastle.

if both teams carry on the way they are at the moment not many people are going to want to be there frankly, so they might be doing discounts. [if only].

regards, ann

dear Ann:

It doth appear that the Spurs are indeed Sad Sacks - the bright miraculous period you were chortling about must have come to a crashing end?

I can never really figure out how such a nice, proper and intelligent person like you can be all mixed up in this Spurs hooliganistic stuff.

regards

pal

She's a general in the Firm.

She'll be getting tooled up for the trip to Watford tomorow.

<<Re Villa: They've got a great big ground which they rarely fill. >>

It was packed to the rafters when Springsteen played there, mid-80s.

That was a good evening, especially as after the concert my car was undamaged and still where I left it - I was dancing in the dark then!

No, he was up at one end, kind of where the goalie would be... don't know if he stopped any or saved much that evening but he seemed quite keen on tackling one of his backing singers (he went on and married her later).

yes, but that was when he was a goalkeeper, and Springsteen was still obviously standing on his spot!

My dear

Ann is wearing only briefs to the match tomorrow? In that coolish weather?

She must be as looney as the rest of Spurs' Nation i guess.

Smog Monsters = Middlesbrough

I'm Off to sunny watford this evening to see us progress to the semis. We're going to win the thing again aren't we, espcially since the goons got mauled by Burnley last night (Burnley! Ha!).

But Arse-smell only had their kindergarden players on the pitch last night. I doubt if any of them were out of nappies
