Flybaboo?
Has anyone ever flown flybaboo, a Geneva-based carrier? I'm considering it for a flight from Prague to Geneva next May but don't know much about it besides its website and would appreciate any first-hand experiences. Thanks.

I live in Geneva and have flown with Flybaboo perhaps 5 or 6 times times, to Venice and last time was 3 weeks ago, Prague return.
I like travelling with them. Small planes so somehow more personal service. How small, their planes are all (I think) 50-seater, with propellers, no jets. Unlike Easyjet and Ryanair, they do give you seat numbers at check-in. Also they serve small refrenshment free of charge. Also unlike those big low-cost airlines, you don't find dirt cheap fares. The best I have had so far may be CHF126(€84) for Geneva - Prague return, tax and all included but I was happy with it.
I will fly them again at the end of January for another trip to Prague.
If you have specific questions, please post. I might know the answers.

Thank you, kappa, I appreciate your input. Do you think flybaboo is stable enough to depend on for a flight next May? I notice they are not yet selling tickets for after March. The other choice is easyjet, which I know is the large low-cost carrier, and which is now selling tickets for when I want to go.Any idea on when flybaboo would start selling seats for May? Thanks.

Hi DN,
I know Flybaboo's reservation is open only till end of March now. I'm planning for another pleasure trip to Prague, besides next January(you can tell I like Prague), over Easter holidays in April so I called them the other day. They said Spring-Summer time table would be open around 20/23 December. I think it was like this last year too. So start checking out the site then. They have been doing a fine service so I wouldn't worry about flying with them. Easyjet started flying Geneva - Prague only this October. They can be much cheaper than Flybaboo depending on which day of the week you want to fly. I did not take Easyjet 3 weeks ago. It was cheaper than Falybaboo but it's flight timing was not good for me. Flybaoo's Prague / Geneva price is €45 oneway at lowest. If Easyjet's cheaper and the timing is ok for you, why not take Easyjet?

Thanks again, kappa, I will check flybaboo's website next week. Their flight leaves 4 hours later than easyjet's which may make it worth it for us since we have a very tight schedule in Prague. Thanks!

I flew with Flyaboo Venice to geneva in early Feb this year and was really impressed. Despite their strict warming about luggage weights, they didn't even query my very overweight suitcase. The service on the short flight was far more than I expected for the very reasonable price.
