Hotel Pendini is really nice and in a perfect location. The only room you don't want is near the Janatorial Closet. All the others are fine. When you e-mail them make sure you tell them that you wnat to be as far as possible from the Janitor's Closet. I don't know anything about the Bellettinin.

I just made a reservation at the hotel TORRE GUELFA, See info on it in the hotel section of Fodors sight. The location, recommendations and prices seemed right!

My sister and I stayed at the Hotel Pendini. It's family run and very up to date. Charming breakfast room overlooking a square. Internet access for guests via a computer next to the front desk.

Like many other "small" hotels in Italy, this one is just one floor of a building (in this case, the top floor). There is at least one other hotel in the building.

We used the Morandi all Crocetta last time and liked it so much that we are using it again this fall. It's small -on the second floor. You are not required to have breakfast there( we liked this--gave us a chance to breakfast with the locals).
