FLORENCE Hotel For a Week

My friend and I want to go to Florence with day trips to Siena, Pisa and Assisi. We plan to stay a week and want a nice hotel at a good price that is either in the center of town or five or ten minute walk to the center. We probably won't have a car. If you happen to have the web site or e-mail address, that would be a big help.
Many thanks.

Judy, Do a search here to find about 200 answers to that one. Start with the www.venere.it web site.

I believe the Casci is a good choice as well nearby Centro Hotel, very tiny,
o55 2302901, the Cimabue recommended by a friend, it is a little further from the center but apparently it is very nice via Lupi 7, 055 475601, a little more money, and one that i like and also love its location, is the Silla a 3 stars , with a good breakfast it charges 260.000 lire, it is very pleasant and as I say I like its location.
