Flights from Split/Dubronvic to Vienna

Hi, Please advise me regarding the availability of any Air Lines operating direct flights from Split or Dubrovnic to Vienna. Most travel agents can book the flights via Rome which cost $680Aust for a single flight which is quite expensive. I have tried ADRIA & Croatia airlines without success. Regards Dennis

Dennis - The best way to search this is to go the the airport websites and check departures.

Dubrovnik airport website

http://www.airport-dubrovnik.hr/trazil.htm

shows flights via Zagreb, but no direct flights.

Hope this helps ...

Steve

Austrian Air has flights to Split. I have seen rates as low as 250 euros- check them.

We flew Croatia Air direct from Dubrovnik to Vienna in Oct 2004 although I think it was a codeshare flight that we booked through USAir.

Oh Hell what is the name of that new Bratislava-based discount airline???

They fly all over central Europe, though Dubrovnic flights are likely available only in warm-weather months.

Anyway, point is, Bratislava is only 35 miles from Vienna and there are buses between the 2 airports every day.

I have checked their flights -- back in the days when I recalled their name -- and the prices were far lower, perhaps one-third what you quote.

Can anyone help the OP on this point?
