I enjoyed the show at Los Gallos, also. ( Plaza de Santa Cruz 11, Tel: 421 6981)
Many will tell you it's just for tourists and that is true, but the dancers are good and puro flamenco often just occurs in bars without publicized performances. The other spot that has a good reputation is El Arenal, Calle Rodo 7, Tel: 421 6492.

You can also go into any of the dance shops ( I went to Menkes, which I think is on Calle Sierpes) and ask about flamenco clubs. Some of them allow spectators.

Enjoy Seville,
Michele

We also enjoyed Los Gallos last October, and booked only about 2 days ahead from a touristy type shop.
Ate nearby outdoors, also.
Idon't know your budget, but whatever you do, DO NOT stay at the Hotel Dona Maria, which is near the cathederal. It was terrible, and meant to be 4 stars. Bad service, surly staff, dirty rooms, no views, air con broken, pillows like rocks....I don't need to go on!
seville is lovely tho, take a carriage ride at night from the cathedral,
enjoy

Hello all!

Thanks so much for all of your advice--I truly appreciate it! I would also love any other suggestions for Seville, Toledo and Granada. My husband and I have never been to Spain before, but we are die-hard travelers who are always up for an adventure!

Thanks for your help

Julie
