Thank you all for the feedback, especially on climbing the dome of St. Peter's in the middle of July. We will try to at least take the lift to the roof level. My wife and I then may decide to climb to the top of the dome, but not sure if my parents would be up for it. We will see. Can't wait to visit Rome for the first time.

Campo de Fiori is an outside market best to visit in the morning. We bought some great food items that we brought back to the states. I believe by the time you get there the market will be closed.
