First time to Denmark
We thinking of going to Allinge, Denmark in June. What is the primary language spoken there? What about type of currency used? I know we will need to do other research and plan to do so as time permits but we must let the time share know by Thursday if we want to go. Therefore I am asking your help with these basic questions. Thanks!

Sorry, I guess my question did not come out right. Let me try again. Would you anticipate that someone who speaks English only would have a problem communicating in Allinge, Denmark? Do many of the locals speak English? Is Allinge interesting enough to stay a full week? Is it practical/feasible to try to see Copenhagen or others areas of Denmark from Allinge on the same trip. Thanks for serious responses.

Sorry, I guess my question was unclear. Maybe "primary" language was confusing. Let me try again.
Allinge is on the northern tip of the Danish island of Bornholm, an island not often visited by Americans, but one that the Danes think is extremely beautiful. I think it is about 100 miles from the Danish coast and about 25 from Sweden. I think day trips to Copenhagen would be difficult unless you fly. Most Danes and Swedes speak English. Today there are 7.017 Danish Kroner to the dollar, a good exchange. You can check that at www.oanda.com. I think you have a rare opportunity to visit a lovely island largely unknown to most Americans. I am a little bit envious.

The language is danish. English is widely spoken. I spent 6 weeks there and didn't need a dictionary. The older generation and 8 & unders don't speak english fluently, but usually know the important words like toilet, hospital.
June in Denmark is quite chilly-like March with rain all the time.
